WHIM (Women’s Health In Midlife) Network – Is hormone therapy (HT) friend or foe?
April 25 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm$15
Hormone therapy (HT) is still considered the most effective treatment for symptoms of menopause like hot flashes and night sweats and it helps prevent bone loss and fractures. However, since the results of WHI- Women’s Health Initiative trials were made public in 2002, women and most healthcare providers, have been afraid of HT.
Join me as I demystify HT and share the latest recommendations. You’ll learn:
- the benefits of HT,
- who’s HT recommend for,
- who should not take HT,
- what are the risk and side effects of HT,
This event is FREE for WHIM Network 2019 members.

We are unique but our stories and journeys have much in common. Together we are stronger than alone!
