Celebrate World Menopause Day, October 18th
October 18, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
FREE!
Let’s get together (virtually) to celebrate World Menopause Day, Sunday, October 18th.
ALL women go through menopause. Do you know what to expect from (peri)menopause? If you don’t , you’re not the only one. Join me to find out.
All women go through menopause but most aren’t aware of what that entails and what to expect from this phase of life. Many women feel alone and isolated during the menopause transition.
Each of us goes through menopause in our own way but we share many common experiences.
- 8 in 10 women experience hot flashes
- 5 in 10 women experience vaginal dryness and pain with sex
- 2 in 10 women experience symptoms so severe their lives are altered
- 1 in 4 women contemplate quitting their jobs because of night sweats, difficulty sleeping, irritability, anxiety, or problems with concentration and memory. Even self-esteem and self-confidence can be negatively affected during the hormonal changes of midlife.
Join me and other women on October 18th, 2-4 PM, and let’s celebrate World Menopause Day.
Have questions about menopause? Bring them. Socialize, meet others, share and learn, and enjoy yourself. We can all use more joy in our lives!
This Celebrate World Menopause Day event is FREE but you must register to receive the Zoom link to join.

The purpose of the WHIM (Women’s Health In Midlife) Network is to educate women about their health and wellbeing, the life-affirming changes of midlife, and healthy aging. It’s the culmination of my 20+ years of experience working in women’s health with a focus on menopause.
I help women cut through the clutter, the myths, and the folklore. By providing truthful, trusted advice, I educate women and equip them to be their own health advocates.
You shouldn’t just survive the menopause transition, you should thrive through it!
